I always thought Siberia was a greyscale kind of place. And then I took a 6000 mile train ride from Tallinn, Estonia to Vladivostok, Russia in the dead of winter. The color is there if you look for it.
To capture this scene, I laid prone atop the frozen surface of the great Lake Biakal, the largest freshwater lake in the world. I shot away with my wide angle lens as the sun dipped below the clouds.
